Shesha Release: Quality, Clarity, and a Dash of Sass ✨
We’ve been busy. And by “busy,” we mean we’ve been doing that unglamorous but vital work of turning rough edges into polished capabilities - sanding down the splinters and sneaking in some serious upgrades. The last few Shesha framework releases mark a big leap toward delivering a developer experience that’s fast, flexible, and honestly, pretty slick.

🛠️ Polished Productivity: Quality of Life Enhancements
- Quick Edit Form Builder now pops up in a full-blown dialog instead of a separate tab. Why? Because context-switching is evil.
- Configurable Widths for dialogs, datalists, headers, and action columns. We get it—you want control.
- Monaco Editor Integration brings VS Code goodness into Shesha. IntelliSense, syntax highlighting, refactoring—it’s all in.
- Subform Rendering in Tables and Cell Background Styling let you get creative with how your data gets shown. Looks nice. Works better.
🐛 Bugs, Begone!
We’ve squashed a horde of gremlins:
- Time pickers are finally behaving like time pickers.mac
- Entity pickers now actually update values when they’re supposed to.
- Subforms now load actual data instead of ghost records.
- Permissions and roles? Configurable and sane now. No more wild-west input fields.
- Async/Await in 'Execute Script'—because callbacks belong in 2010.
And many more... If it felt like the form designer was gaslighting you, you’re not wrong—but it’s over now.
🎨 Better UX, Cleaner Config
- Independent Scrollers, Collapsible Sections, Zoomable Canvases—yeah, we’re getting fancy.
- Tooltips Everywhere—because we want you to know what the hell that button does.
- Full-width Search Bars and Cleaner Layouts so your forms don’t look like a 90s web portal.
- Deleted the bottom scroller. You’re welcome.
💣 Breaking Changes (Because Progress)
Some of your old forms might break. Sorry, not sorry. We’ve made enough improvements that a little rework is worth it. Reconfigure, and enjoy the new hotness.
